Throughout the month of August, the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual Membership Drive. While it's always a good time to join the Chamber, extra incentives make the Membership Drive the best time to join.

Four teams have been assembled, each representing a division of the U.S. Military. United States Navy, led by Rebecca Lilley of Memorial Hermann Hospital, United States Army, led by JP Morris of Texas Citizen Bank, United States Marine Corps, led by Angela Bivens of the Pet Palace and the United States Air Force, led by Doug Meisinger of Clear Lake Today and Vinyl Draught Radio.

About the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1962 by the merger of the Seabrook and Kemah Chambers of Commerce. In 1964, the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce merged with the League City Chamber of Commerce. The Clear Lake Area Chamber became the 11th chamber in Texas and the 214th in the nation to achieve accreditation with the Chamber of Commerce of the United States.
