Lighting the Way for 20 Years

Losing your entire home and its contents can be a traumatic event for anyone. Similar tragedies like the loss of a job or marriage can equally change the course of someone’s life. Lighthouse Christian Ministries has a vision to build relationships through service to shine Christ’s love and hope in the community. The organization provides health, food and basic needs assistance to residents throughout Galveston County. In 2017, LCM provided approximately $1.1 million in services from $600,000 worth of donations- stretching funds to meet a multitude of needs. On April 21, LCM will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a Gala and Celebration at the Lone Star Flight Museum at 6 p.m. The event will include entertainment from Denver & The Mile High Orchestra., dinner, a silent auction and more! Tickets and sponsorships are still available for this event, but usually sell out. All proceeds from the event will go directly towards Lighthouse Christian Ministries’ programs that help clients reach self-sufficiency. By collaborating with partner organizations locally and abroad, LCM served area families by helping them obtain beds, furniture and appliances as they move back into their homes after Hurricane Harvey.
