League City, TX - Associated Credit Union of Texas is proud to announce that Jake Worthington has agreed to perform a benefit concert to be held at the ACU of Texas headquarters in League City. The free concert will be Friday, September 22, 2017, from 6 p.m. -10 p.m. ACU of Texas will not be charging for the event but invites attendees to donate what they can to a Harvey Relief Fund created to support area first responders. The concert will be held outside of the ACU of Texas headquarters located at 1095 League City Parkway in League City. When asked about the event, Chief Operations Officer, Jay Coppock stated, 'We have seen the communities come together so beautifully and we wanted to celebrate that spirit. We know that so many first responders lost everything and have sacrificed so much - we wanted an opportunity to thank and give back to them.' Jake Worthington was runner up on the 6th season of The Voice. He quickly jumped on the opportunity to come back to the Houston area after Harvey, to lift the spirits of the area. He will be performing a 120 minute set at the show. Worthington agreed to do the concert immediately and is excited to show appreciation to the first responders. Event Wise productions are donating emcee and DJ services; lights and sound are being provided by SEG Productions; and electricity is donated by TDEC Inc. of Alvin.
